1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to visitors to jntfootball.com, people who contact us, trial users, subscribers, authorised parent users, and users of the JNT Football Parent service.

2. Roles and responsibilities

For information collected directly through the JNT Football website, account registration, billing and our own service administration, the JNT Football operator acts as controller. For the JNT Football Parent service, the operator processes account, child-profile, football-record and media data to provide the service requested by the account holder. Parents and guardians decide what child information and media they choose to add and must be entitled to provide it.

3. Information we process and where it is stored

• Parent accounts: your name, email address, protected password hash, verification status, family membership and invitations are stored in our application database.
• Children’s profiles: information entered by a parent, including first and optional last name, date of birth, position, club, team, season and optional profile photo.
• Football records: match dates, opponents, competitions, scores, playing time, goals, assists, positions, training attendance and schedules, progress ratings and notes.
• Match media: uploaded football photos and videos are stored in a private Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 bucket. Our database stores the file reference, title, caption, type, size and associated account/match details. Videos may show your child, other players, coaches and spectators, and may include audio. YouTube links and video identifiers are stored when you choose to add them.
• Profile photos: child profile photos currently use private application-server storage rather than the match-media S3 bucket.
• Subscriptions: trial dates, subscription plan/status, renewal or cancellation information and Stripe customer/subscription references are stored in our database.
• Enquiries and security: details submitted through contact/support forms, including names, email, family/account, country and message; correspondence; and technical records such as IP addresses, browser information, sessions and administrator audit logs.

Using AWS storage does not remove our responsibility for the information. The platform operator has administrative access to its infrastructure and S3 media storage. Media is therefore not accessible only to the uploading parent. Authorised family members can access family content through the service, and administrative access may be used for service operation, support, security and handling requests.

4. Why we process information

We process personal data to provide and secure the service, create and administer accounts, manage trials and subscriptions, respond to enquiries and support requests (including sending an automatic email acknowledgement to the address you provide), process payments, maintain service reliability, prevent misuse, comply with legal obligations, and improve the platform. On www.jntfootball.com, Google Analytics is loaded only when you accept analytics cookies. It measures website visits and trial-button clicks; advertising storage is disabled.

5. Legal bases

Depending on the activity, processing may be necessary to perform a contract or take steps requested before entering one, comply with legal obligations, pursue legitimate interests such as service security and administration, or rely on consent where consent is the appropriate legal basis. Consent can be withdrawn for future processing at any time.

6. Children and family data

JNT Football is a parent football-record service and may contain information relating to youth players. Parents and family account holders should provide only information they are entitled to share and arrange appropriate permissions for recordings, including footage showing other children. Please do not enter sensitive information such as medical details into free-text notes. Our own data-protection responsibilities continue to apply. JNT Football does not ask children to create public marketing-site accounts or submit marketing enquiries directly.

7. Service providers and international transfers

We use AWS for private match-media storage, Stripe for payments, Google Analytics for consented website measurement, and hosting, email and security providers to operate the service. CloudFront may deliver private media; Cloudflare supports website delivery and security. YouTube receives information when you choose to open a YouTube video or its externally hosted thumbnail is loaded.

We may use specialist providers for infrastructure, email delivery, payment processing, content delivery, security and other operational services. Providers receive only the information needed for their role and are subject to appropriate contractual and data-protection requirements. Where personal data is transferred outside the EEA, an appropriate transfer mechanism will be used where required by law.

When enabled on the contact form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks whether a submission appears to come from a real visitor. Cloudflare receives technical browser/network information for this security check, and our server validates the resulting short-lived token before sending your message. 8. Payments

Subscription payments are processed through Stripe. JNT Football does not store your full card number or card security code (CVC/CVV) in its application database or S3 media bucket. Card details are entered through Stripe’s payment interface and handled by Stripe. JNT retains subscription and payment-related references needed to administer the account. Stripe may process payment and billing information under its own privacy terms and the agreements applicable to our use of its services.

9. Retention

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including account administration, contractual, security, tax, accounting and legal requirements. Account and family records are kept while needed to provide the service. Parents can remove individual match media through the application or contact us about account/family deletion. Cancelling a subscription, ending a trial or archiving an account is not the same as deleting the data. Retention also depends on unresolved support/security matters, legal claims and applicable accounting obligations. Contact us for the retention criteria that apply to your account; this policy does not promise an automatic deletion deadline or immediate removal from every backup.

10. Your rights

Subject to the GDPR and applicable law, individuals may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability and withdrawal of consent. Requests concerning JNT Football processing can be sent to [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, including Malta's Information and Data Protection Commissioner where applicable.

11. Cookies

We use a consent-management tool to control cookies and similar technologies. Necessary technologies may operate without consent where legally exempt; optional technologies should not be activated until the required consent has been obtained. Our public website stores your consent choice in a website-only cookie for up to 180 days. See our Cookie Policy or use the Cookie settings link in the footer. The Parent application has its own login/session and consent controls.

12. Security

We use technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or loss. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service, suppliers or legal requirements change. The current version and last-updated date will be published on this page.
